Are you interested in a career in adventure tourism or the horse industry? Would you like to further your knowledge of back country living and basic horsemanship? Then this is the course for you! These programs are designed to help hone your business skills in adventure tourism and to teach you a new appreciation for the wilderness. We will provide participants with a solid combination of working knowledge and practical skill for - horse handling, horse shoeing, horse packing, feed and range management, mountain riding, pack trip preparations, back country camp selection, plant and wildlife identification and so much more! Classes are small and personable!
Wilderness Guide Training 2 week Beginner Program
May 3rd to May 16th $1500.00 plus GST
June 1st to June 14th $2000.00 plus GST
October 4th to October 17th $1500.00 plus GST
Wilderness Guide Training 2 week Advance Program
May 17th to May 30th $2000.00 plus GST
June 15th till June 28th $2000.00 plus GST

Grizzly Viewing Package
Imagine yourself in the middle of nature just as she is waking up from a long winters nap. Grasslands are green, wildflowers are splendid and the mighty Grizzly is roaming the green valley bottoms. Your sure footed horse carry you and all your belongings out into the wild to capture all this on your cameras and in your memories for a lifetime. One of our most experienced, highly trained guides will help you to learn to track these beautiful creatures. This is a great time to hit the back country as it is still very quiet out there! Be one with nature and join us for an experience of a lifetime on a 7 day Grizzly Viewing Pack Horse Tour. Itineraries will vary according to the Grizzly and weather conditions on this early mountain tour.

June 4th to June 9th (6 day fully catered pack horse tour) $1100.00 per person plus GST

Back Country Horseman Seminar with Tour
For those experienced horse lovers who like to or would like to explore the country on their own. These tours are lead by our Guide School Instructor. Do you want to learn the single and double diamond, hone up your back country skills, learn better grazing techniques for back country adventures, how to choose spike camps and learn the trails of the Spruce Lake Park? Then this is the chance to ask all your questions and have them answered by someone highly qualified in this area. This is a hands on program!

June 18th to June 25th (7 day full catered tour and training) $1200.00 per person plus GST
July 1st to July 7th (7 day fully catered tour and training) $1200.00 per person plus GST

Youth Camp
Do you have a student at home that is looking for an exciting summer adventure? Looking for the ultimate Grad Get A Way, Do you love horses or do you just want to get away from town? Come and challenge yourself! Participation at it's fullest! Our program will teach them basic horsemanship skills, horse grooming and care, mountain survival skills, safety around animals and in the wilderness and so much more! Youths between the ages of 13 and 18 are welcome to attend, class size does not exceed 8 participants and we will provide different accomodation for male and female students as well as full supervision.

July 16th to July 22nd ( 7 day program includes all room and board) $1100.00 per person plus GST

7 - 14 Day Extended Back Country Tours
Go beyond the base camps! Group bookings are required for these specialized tours with a minimum of 8 riders. Some are assisted by floatplane and others will trail head out of special locations. Advanced Level Riders Only. Call or Email us for more details!
