2004 SEASON IS HERE!
All is well
at the main ranch on Pearson Pond. We are almost to the middle of our winter
season. We just passed a cold snap and are happy to say that it is over! Our
back country skiers have been enjoying the pristine virgin snow that the
seclusion that Eldorado has to offer them. The children have been enjoying the
ice skating on the pond and the sleigh rides over Christmas went really well. We
will still enjoy our sleigh rides around Pearson Pond until mid March when it
starts to get too slushy. All the horses are enjoying winter at home. It is nice
to have them in the yard and watch them frolic in the snow. We have had some
good entertainment. Seems as though Humphrey and Cheroe figure they are a tag
team and do laps around the big willow bush out by the pond.
The 2004
season is looking good and we are excited! There is lots of interest out there
this year and we are happy to say that dates are filling up fast! 2003 brought
us many new faces from all over the world and we are looking forward to meeting
even more new friends this year. We are pleased to add this year to our list of
activities a Youth Program, a Spring Grizzly Viewing Package, Back Country
Horseman Seminar with Tours as well as some extended back country tours which
will travel deep into the heart of the back country and be supported by vehicle
or floatplanes. Looks like we have the opportunity to travel into Taseko country
again to. Luckily I had a partial booking right before sending out this
newsletter. So if anyone is interested in the few spots left please give us a
call soon.
We still
have many dates between June 15th and July 15th to work with and you will notice
the lower rate for the beginning of the seson. It is one of the most beautiful
times to travel as the bustle of the back country has not yet begun and the
wildflowers are at their prime. Don’t forget this is also the best time to
travel to experience the bug free environment that the Chilcotin boasts.
If you are
interested in booking a tour for the 2004 season and wish to receive your ideal
dates, give us a call and let us help plan your vacation of a lifetime!
We look
forward to seeing you soon!
